These studies help train musical fluency whilst being beautiful piano pieces in their own right. The language becomes more complex at each Level but interestingly by traditional standards all the pieces from Level 2 onwards are around Grade 3, 4 or 5. They always have a rich texture and the musical reward is very high for the effort.
